Design Vintage was founded in 2012 by interiors addict Lisa Brass. From a tiny start-up
shop in Brighton it has grown rapidly to become a much loved online store with three showrooms and a cafe .. and still growing!

The story so far ..

A brief intro - I've been pretty much obsessed with interiors for as long as I can remember. My career has involved various aspects of hospitality, property design, building and developing, and I previously ran my own interior design studio having trained at KLC college, Chelsea.

Design Vintage started life as a small store on the outskirts of Brighton offering original vintage furniture pieces alongside modern homewares and gifts. The shop was off the beaten track and with only a homemade website it was definitely a gamble! Thankfully I have had the support of so many lovely customers from day one as well as some amazing press coverage and a reputation for customer service which has allowed the company to grow and far exceed anything I had imagined it could be.

The journey has definitely not been one for the faint hearted, and the last 8 years have bought with them an all consuming and constant need for hard work and commitment but I am now lucky enough to have a small team of equally dedicated and wonderfully passionate people who have joined this exciting adventure!
